Obituary of Timothy Rae Cochrane

June 29, 1960 – Calgary, Alberta

March 12, 2024 – Red Deer, Alberta

Our brother Tim passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. With his passing, we have lost not only a brother, but an uncle, a great-uncle, and a wonderful friend.

Tim loved to laugh. He saw humour in almost anything and everything, and with his interesting and quirky life observations and quick wit, he made our lives all the richer with laughter. Tim was a gentle soul, who was always ready to help. He loved social get-togethers with his family and friends and was always the first to say he would be there.

Tim was an electrician and he worked in the oil patch of Central Alberta for 24 years. He had a very good relationship with those he worked with; they were his working family.

Tim was predeceased by his parents Rae and Blanche.

Tim, we will love you forever, your sisters and brothers, Sharon (Lory), Susan (Terry), Ron (Ann), Joanne (John), and Gerald. Always in the hearts of your nieces and nephews, Kristin (Ryan), Conor (Harpreet), Sean, Kirk, Taylor (Melissa), and Mitchell (Katelyn).

A Celebration of Tim's Life will be announced at a later date.
