Condolences
To Doreen's family and close friends. I am so sorry for your loss. Doreen was an extraordinary woman and there will be a huge void in your lives.
I met Doreen in the Ladysmith Aqua Fit class in 1998. She was so lovely and gracious and attractive. I enjoyed so many conversations with her over the years both in the pool and at our Aqua Fit Ladies Christmas and Summer potluck lunches. Little did I know how talented, adventurous and courageous she was. She never bragged or boasted about her own exploits and was always interested in what the other women in our group were doing. I am so happy to have met and known her even just in our fitness class. She was an inspiration to so many there and it seems throughout her life. I feel we all have been blessed in knowing her in whatever way.

Doreen,
Doreen was very proud of her family, especially the grandchildren and their families. Always heard about Warren the Olympian 2006 & 2010.
Doreen had a skill, a knack for picking art. She had a wonderful art collection in the Saltair house and was extremely proud of her and Gerry's donations to the Glenbow Gallery in Calgary. I was always welcome for a beer, a guided art tour and discussion.
Doreen was an active swimmer and an engaging host throughout her time in Saltair. A wonderful life well lived.
Condolences from Saltair neighbour Don Avis
