Obituary of Augusta Noce

Augusta Noce (nee Fusaro), passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 72 years, surrounded by her loved ones.

She leaves in her memory, her loving husband of 53 years, Victor Noce, her two daughters Nadia and Marisa; sons-in-law Rosario and Yaphet; grandchildren Sam, Victor, Adriana, Gianluca, and Alessio; siblings Benita (predeceased), brother-in-law Pietrangelo Conforti (predeceased), sister Elvira and brother-in-law Frank Zagoda, brother Carmen Fusaro; parents Mariantonia Gradilone and Salvatore Fusaro (predeceased), as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.

Augusta was born in Montagnola, Acri, on March 21, 1951. She immigrated to Calgary, AB, in 1968, and married the love of her life, Victor Noce, in 1970.

She was an accomplished hairstylist for 52 years and loved to make all her clients feel and look extraordinary.

Augusta will be most remembered for her loving, caring, and compassionate soul. She was a woman of pure class, whether it was her unique style or her humble demeanor. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and would always speak highly of all their accomplishments. For anyone who knew Augusta, she was passionate about cooking, her garden, and planting flowers.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church (Corner of 4th Street & Northmount Drive N.W., Calgary, AB) on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen's Park Mausoleum (3219-4th street NW, Calgary, AB, T2M 2A6). Reception to follow at the Calgary Italian Cultural Centre (416 1 Ave NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 0B3)

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Noce’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
