Condolences
Heartfelt sympathy to the Lynas family with the passing of Martha. Martin and Meta had a wonderfully meaningful connection to my family on so many levels. Reverend Lynas, always with a twinkle in his eye, helped share the good word at Southminster United Church. Meta was an equal at his side and continued his important work. Both were dear friends to my Mom Elizabeth Wolff who sends her deepest condolences. They were good friends to so many, truly special people. Hugs and Love, Gord, Kandi, Laura, and Elizabeth.
Heather, Joy and Robin, my sincerest sympathy to you and your families, on the loss of your beautiful Mom. We were so lucky to be your first neighbours in Canada and my parents absolutely adored your parents! Your Dad married all of us Leeson kids and your Mom was such a beautiful friend! So kind, gentle and caring!
I know you will have such wonderful memories and you were truly blessed to have shared her life for so long! Sending hugs

We have many happy memories of Martin and Meta and family when we moved to Bowden, Alberta. They taught us how to survive the Canadian winter and adapt to Canadian culture.

It is a lovely picture of Meta that you posted. She was a beautiful and kind lady. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know her and Martin.
Meta and I trained at the same hospital in Belfast though a number of years apart. We had many chats about what it was like in the “old days”. I was always delighted to be working the days she came into our clinic. Meta gave me her recipe for shortbread but I have been scared to make it as it will never be as good as hers.
Bill and Grace,
We are so sorry to hear about Meta. I know how much you loved your sister and Martin,
May she Rest In Peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Meta's passing. She took care of my puppy Cocoa for a month while I was away in the Caribbean. Cocoa loved spending time with Meta and when I returned, we visited Meta for tea, and always a sweet treat to go with that. Her words of wisdom and caring heart made those visits life-long memories for me. She often spoke of her husband Martin and how proud she was of his work and their work together. Often Meta spoke of her children and the joy she had in raising her family. I will carry her memory forever in my heart. God Bless You Meta. Rest in peace.
Love and Prayers

What a beautiful, strong and warm human being.. I remember last time we saw Meta at Robin and Jackie’s cabin in Invermere. She was always full of life, and genuinely loved people. I still need to make her version of shortbread I got recipe from Jackie. So sorry for your loss.
