Obituary of William Edward Schulz

Bill Schulz of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at the age of 82 years.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Doreen, his daughter Lisa (Neil) Drummond, three grandchildren, Graeme, Kailie (Brodie) Helms, and Brianna; as well as his two great-grandchildren, Ari and Zia Helms.

Bill was the patriarch of his large family, which included his siblings Irene, Carol, Terry, Robert, Sandra, Wendy, Debra, Sherry, Doug, Blake, and Michelle.

He was predeceased by his mother Grace, sister Edna, and brothers, Darcy and Trevor.

Bill spent most of his adult life as a cattle buyer for Canada Packers and later for Lakeside Feeders & Packing. Following this, he and Doreen bought a farm near Crossfield, AB, where they lived for 25 years. After retiring in 2008, they moved to Airdrie, AB, where they enjoyed winter vacations in Yuma, golfing, and also enjoyed going to Nose Creek Park, where he took many walks with his best dog friends, Bo and Buddy.
