Obituary of Linda Louise Acheson

May 10, 1951 – Kimberley, British Columbia

March 24, 2024 – Fort McMurray, Alberta

Linda Acheson of Fort McMurray, AB, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother. She leaves behind her three children, Kathleen, Lisa, and Kevin; her two grandchildren, Rykr and Kyland, and one soon to be on the way. 

Linda worked for over 30 years at the Fort McMurray Public School District. Her presence there accumulated most of her close friendships. 

She was the warmest, kindest, and hardest working woman we knew. Linda loved nothing more than being with her friends and family. We know everyone will miss her infectious laugh that could brighten any room. 

Due to the unexpected passing of our mom, we have decided on a private service this Saturday, March 30, 2024, to give the family time to process together. 

Details of a Memorial Tribute to her life will be announced at a later date. We thank everyone for their condolences and support during this very difficult time.
