Obituary of Clifford Graham MacFarlane
March 1, 1982 – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
March 24, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
Clifford Graham MacFarlane of Calgary, AB, was born in Charlottetown, PEI, on March 1, 1982, and passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the age of 42 years.
Cliff was the beloved son of Debra and Rodney MacFarlane; stepson of Kevin Biggs, and devoted brother to Richard MacFarlane.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Clifford (his namesake) and Lois Howes; and Norma and Charles MacFarlane. Cliff also left behind his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and hundreds of cherished friends.
Cliff was known to be the life of the party, showing up in some sort of costume and infecting all with his boisterous laughter. He was also an accomplished athlete, playing on high school basketball and volleyball teams, as well as several club teams. Injuries dashed his hopes of someday playing professional sports. Cliff's artsy side had him writing poetry from a young age which morphed into a side gig as a rapper, where he was known as Double Play. Professionally, Cliff was an Environmental Technician and worked in the materials testing field. He had many industry certifications, as well as his diploma from Holland College in PEI.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a giving spirit. His vibrant personality will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Clifford was too well-loved to ever be forgotten.
