Condolences
Dear Sara and Cristian and family,
Now that things have settled down for Daniela, I had a distinct sense of her in a meditation a short while ago and it is as though she has been bugging me since then to write to you so here is the sense of what she seemed to be wanting me to say.
First Daniela came strongly into my mind and then I had such a strong sense of joy and happiness. Although she fought hard to stay in this dimension, it seems that she is very happy in the next dimension. It is as though she wants you to sense some of that happiness in your lives so that you can go on and know she will always be available to you when you can think of her without such intense grief as that may keep you from feeling her love. She knows that you will need to go through that intense phase of grieving for awhile but will be happy when you can feel her love.
I appreciated her for all of the things mentioned in other greetings and also for her courage to say what she thought to her physicians and to educate them in how they should deal with her. Her love and caring for her family is still very much there (or she wouldn’t have been bugging me to write this note to you). It is just coming from a different dimension, that’s all.
I can feel her love as I write this and I hope you will too!
Marilyn
I have just learned of dear Daniela’s passing away. Having met her through Anna, having worked with her as an Air Canada colleague and having ministered to her as Pastoral Care Minister at the Foothills Hospital, I am saddened at her loss and send my condolences to her husband, her daughters, and family, specially Anna. Daniela is in heaven and she will be missed by many who in one way or another met her or dealt with her at the airport and everywhere. I will miss her ready smile and superb disposition as a friend and colleague.

Dear family members & friends,
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad and difficult junction.
Daniela has been an important part of my life for over four decades. We met in Montreal North, when I was fourteen and she was nine. It was an unlikely beginning, but a bond of trust, companionship and respect was slowly cemented. I remember how we would hang out for endless hours in her bedroom and never seem to tire of each others’ company. Daniela gave a new meaning to going out on a Saturday night! She was such a social butterfly and it was hard to get her to leave the disco. Years later, when Daniela met Paolo and told me that she would be moving to Toronto, I remember how sad and devastated I felt. “Don’t worry,” she said in her reassuring manner, “you will always be a part of my life.”
Daniela was truly a special blessing and I was so fortunate to have had the gift of her friendship. In a lifetime, there are only a handful of deeply transforming and lasting relationships. We may cross paths with a mere few who will truly know us as we know them…a mere few who see us not only as we are, but as we’d like to be. My heart will forever ache but be filled with gratitude for having had such a wonderful and loving friend.
Daniela, I will always miss you and remember the sound of your voice and laughter ringing in my ears. No happy time that passes, is ever really gone, as it leaves a cherished memory. Thank you for your unwavering support, concern, encouragement, and loyalty, throughout all the years. Thank you for being a kind soul and a beautiful spirit in a world that could use a million more people just like you. I know that you will continue to watch over me from heaven above.
Your forever friend,
Linda Moras
Dear Daniela,
May the angels guide you through God’s Kingdom where you will find peace and feel the warmth of all the hearts that have loved you, and will continue to do so in memory of you.
May you rest in peace.
I think what I appreciated most about Daniella, was her straight up honesty, and purity of character, always the same.
In late July, I was out cycling and had my little dog along, and decided to just drop in on Daniella. Company had just left and she was exhausted, a bit frail, but always glad to see you, so only stayed a few min. She loved the dog, really wanted to hold, and how old is she?(acts like a puppy). I said 15 and nothing really wrong with her accept she needs “readers”! My memory will forever be, Daniella’s deep, rich and untempered laugh, which she treated me to that day.
Rest in peace beautiful lady.
My sincere condolences to all the family on your loss.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Condolences from the Figueroa family.
Nothing can express the sadness we feel for your family. Daniela was a wonderful person and she touched so many hearts. My heart goes out to her husband and children, her mother Silvia, her brother Silvio and sister Anna-Maria and all their families. I will remember her always.
To all of Daniela’s family!
I do not remember a day that I worked with this beautiful person and did not laugh! That was
Daniela! She fought a strong battle but now she is called home! Find strength in family and
in friends!
During the last years of her life, Daniela was a modern-day Joan of Arc in her valiant fight to conquer cancer. It is a disturbing mystery that one so passionate about life, could leave us all so soon. It is so sad and truly unbelievable. My heartfelt condolences go out to Daniela’s family and close friends who were an incredible support to her.
I loved Daniela as a special friend who has left me with so many unforgettable memories. What a happy anticipation we experienced every time she called to tell us that she was coming to Montreal. She always looked radiant and soon enough, she captivated our attention with entertaining stories, her thoughtful perspective on current news, shopping trips, and an update on her beloved children.
After such a hard fought battle, my heart is consoled, knowing without a doubt that Daniela is now soaring. She has been called to another mission, in a grander, unimaginable world. And yet, from the stars above, she can come to us in a thought or a memory and will continue to be present in our lives.
Oh, Courageous Friend, Linda and I miss you! But a lifetime is a blink in eternity, and soon enough, we will be reunited. Meanwhile, we have made a place for you in our hearts, and we will forever be remembering you and everything about you that we loved, admired and appreciated. Dear Paolo, Sara, Christian, Silvia, Silvio, Anna, Paul and family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you all. May God give you all the comfort and peace that you seek and may the soul of Daniela rest in peace. Daniela was a vibrant and beautiful woman, we will always remember her warm smile and her vibrant sense of humour.
When we lose a loved one on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. We extend our our most sincere condolences to you all.
Love,
Lorianna and Ryan Saunders
I was very sad to hear about Daniela. We sure had a lot of fun when
I worked at the airport with her. I will always remember our trip
to Montreal, we had a blast. My prayers are with her family, she will
be missed. Take care, Peace be with you all.
I’m not very good with words… but here goes.
I know it’s a very sad time for you Sylvia, Sylvio, Anna, Paolo, Sara, Cristian and Family. Realizing Daniela is no longer with us deeply saddens me. I recall crossing paths one winter night on Belleville Street around 1972, too shy to say anything, but not Daniela; she broke the ice and said HI to me. With time I got to know Daniela and realized how friendly, kind hearted, and a wonderful person she was. Since then I always had the most respect for her and always looked up to her. Even though we had lost contact for many years, Daniela would always be in my thoughts, and especially today.
Daniela, I am so grateful I had an opportunity to spend a little time with you, to talk to you, hold you, and hug you, before you left us for a better place. Daniela you will be forever be remembered and will always have a place in our hearts.

Oh my goodness……. Where does a person start.
I can not believe it has come to this. I’m a coworker if Daniela and have worked side by side with her for years. We talked often and openly and the one sentence that sticks with me, was Daniela constantly saying that she felt soooooo good and full of energy. She was good – she looked good – and her smile and kindness will be with me forever.
God bless her.
Susie
As a former co-worker, my day was always more special, to see and work and hang out with Daniela. That positive energy, sense of fun, amazing sense of humor and love of life and family was always present. I am so sad to hear of her passing. She was a true bright light in the this world and I will never forget the memories I have of this most beautiful lady.

My deepest condolences to Daniela’s family. We became friends while working at the airport. I will always remember Daniela for her strength and courage and determination. Also for her fierce love for her children and family. I will miss her infectious laugh and “shoot from the hip” attitude. You always knew where you stood with her for sure. I had an opportunity to see Daniela recently while in the hospital and we had a lovely visit and did not talk about her illness at her request. We talked about work, friends, lipstick and shoes. She was upbeat even though she was in so much pain. That was Daniela. I will miss you terribly my friend. The world has lost a fabulous woman and heaven has gained an Angel. Rest in peace. And to your family my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Xoxo
Dear Paolo, Sarah, Christian, Silvia, Silvio, Anna

Whenever I ran into Daniela at work, or in class at French Maintenance, she always struck me as someone with a great passion for life, her work, and warm love for her friends and family.
We shared lots of laughs, she was always able to see a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day, and made everyone’s day a fun and memorable one.
My sincere condolences to Daniela’s dear family and friends.

It is a sad time for me and anyone who knew Daniela. Daniela was a colleague and a treasured friend. Working side by side for many years I would feel the passion she had for family, stories of love, pride and respect she had for her children. She talked of her siblings and the love she had for her mother. It was all about family. There wasn’t a day she didn’t have a story of her family, it could be beautiful or funny. She could make you laugh. She was also interested in you and the good things happening in your life.
You could never have a bad day at work with Daniela, she sure would find a way to have a chuckle out of a bad situation. We had many of those! Her laugh, the sound , her expression and the movement of her hands in excitement would lift anyone’s spirits and something I will never forget. For you her family you had a beautiful mother, daugther, wife and sister. For those who knew her, you had a good friend. The brightest star in the sky will be Daniela.
Some day I will visit the old country, and I know you will be with me.
I will miss you beautiful Lady.
My sympathy to the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Daniels’s passing. I will always remember her zest for life and her sense of humor. I have such fond memories of traveling from Toronto to Montreal on long weekends. We had such fun. Thankfully I had the opportunity to chat with you Daniela, even through your illness you were still able to convey your sense of humor and make me smile. It was like there was no lapse in years. Beautiful Daniela. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of knowing you. Rest in Peace, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We pray that your heart and soul will find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathy is with you and your family.
What a gal! What a raconteur! She was incapable of being boring. The seat next to her at a party was the J Class seat. As much as she was an entertainer she was a real loving Italian mama to her kids and an ace AC agent. So very many people will miss her dearly . My thoughts are with her family.
Corrado, Patrizia, Miriam e Silvia
There are no words to describe the loss of such a beautiful vibrant woman who was passionate about life, love and family. We had the great privilege of calling her friend, enjoying many many hours over a glass (or two) of wine arguing, laughing in true Italian fashion. We will miss her forever but she will remain in our hearts till we meet again. To Paolo, Sara, Christian, the Clauser and Lorenzoni families, peace be with you in the days ahead and be comforted by your memories of this special woman.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. What a force Daniela was. She will be greatly missed.
With sincere sympathy
Darren & Val Amadio
First and foremost, we would like to thank our Lord, for crossing the paths of our lives with the Lorenzonies. Both from Montreal ,in Calgary. Go Figure. This was some twenty-five years ago. From there a beautiful friendship grew. Now to loose a beautiful, inspiring, radiant, non-judgemental person is heart breaking. She had such a love of life, travel, and family. Sara/Cristian she loved you both with all her heart, and you both made her proud when you graduated in your own fields. Please both carry on with your professions and make her proud. Paolo, You went through the best and worst, Stay strong for your family. Mother Silvia, be proud of what you raised and stay strong.
Let the good Lord be with you in the coming months and help all of you to overcome this loss.
George & Gail Kalba.
Dear Anna,
