Condolences
Penny and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I pray you will find comfort and peace in many memories. I send sincere condolences for your loss.
Dearest Penny,
I am thinking of you and so glad you have so many good memories that will always be in your heart.
The years fly by but I remember the special love and joy you had with Tom from the beginning.
Rest in peace dear Tom.
Big hug to you Penny!
Love Diane
Meow Meow Meow from all the kitties!
Tom,
I know you are in a much better place after the hell of the last few years. This poem by W,H, Auden seems appropriate.
Stop the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public Doves
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, My East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever::I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one.
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
Rest In Peace
P
