Mat, I'm so greatful to have had you as a best friend for many years, you were the first person to welcome me to Calgary and make me feel accepted. Your joy for life, culture, languages and adventures was incredible and I'm glad to have had such good times together, and not so good ones as well. You were always a trustworthy friend and great compassionate listener, amazing dancer and organizer of messy homes . I love you so much, you will always be in my heart until we meet again my dear Mat! I know you are in a better place now.

Milanka, forever in my memory as the always joyful person with whom i enjoyed playing with all the animals at your grandparents. I felt being in the company of like minded relatives when i visited you. Quite hard to imagine that you are not anymore with us. Thanks to the family for all the efforts that enabled the meetings in the last few years. Hard to comprehend how somebody so joyful is gone, makes me think that life passes fast and one should cherish every moment with family.

Mima mea draga, imi voi aminti mereu cu mare drag de tine. Vei ramane in inimile noastre. Stiu ca acolo unde ai plecat este un loc mai bun fara durere.

Milanka a fost si o sa rămână mereu vie in inimile și viețile noastre la fel ca toți cei dragi plecați înspre stele…

Sweet Mima, I will miss you dearly.

Always admired you and wish to be like you when it came to human contacts. How easy you made friends and chat with people.

Remember our little project of mapping street art in downtown Calgary. It didn’t really materialized in the end but we started with a long walk one fall day.

Miss you dearly and always remember and talk about you.
