Condolences
Hi Donna, Erin, and John,
To say that we were saddened to hear of Dave's passing doesn't begin to express the sorrow that Nancie and I are feeling. I first met Dave when we were both in the Air Cadets, then by chance, when we both worked at the same Safeway store, bagging groceries and pushing buggies. And if that weren't enough, we both worked at Calgary Universal Typewriter (where he got me a job), then again at The Stevens Alberta Company (where I got him a job!) On October 18, 1975, I was honored to have Dave as my best man at our wedding. Together with our friend Murray Welch, we became "The Three Musky Steers". Our motto was "One for all, all for one, and every man for himself". He remains to this day one of my most cherished friends, and the funniest man I've ever known.
With all of our love,
Kelly and Nancie
To Donna, Erin, Vanessa(and Octavia), Tenisha, and the rest of Dave’s family,
I am so so sorry that you’ve lost Dave, Dad, and Grampa. I am deeply saddened over the loss of Dave.
Dave was such a wonderful man. He was so very kind. He was funny. He had a subtle way of making people laugh! I know how much you will all miss him. I am sorry for your pain and heartache. Please know that I am here for you all :(
Rest in peace Dave. You are already missed so much. Please watch over Donna and Erin and the girls :(
