Obituary of Gregory Peter McCaughey

It is with heavy hearts the family of Gregory “Greg” Peter McCaughey announces his passing. Greg was born in Uxbridge, ON on January 22, 1960, and passed away in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Greg loved life and the outdoors, fishing, playing guitar, playing cards, watching his favourite TV programs and spending time with family and friends. The family would like to thank the Chinook Care Home for their love and care for Greg during his time there. 

He is lovingly remembered by his sister Esther (Bob) Benson and family, brother Gerald (Cecilia) and family, sister Mary and family, sister Marilyn, brother James and family, sister Carol, brother Tim and family, sister-in-law Shirley and family, as well as his dear friends Tina Bramley and Tim Sitter.

Greg was predeceased by his mother and father, Jean and Leo, his son Tyler, and his brothers, Ron and Joe.
