Obituary of Piotr (Peter) Otrebski

May 1, 1972 - April 28, 2024

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Piotr (Peter) Otrebski, loving husband, son, brother, father, and friend. Peter passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the age of 51, after privately and bravely battling cancer.

Peter’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He leaves behind his wife Sylvia, and their two sons, Matthew and Justin whom he loved beyond measure. His legacy will live on through them as he devoted his life to setting them up for a successful future.

Peter was one in a million; he leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, kindness and above all his sense of humour which had a profound impact on the lives of all those who knew him.

A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
