I knew Jack for many years at Canyon Meadows golf club.

I will never have the pleasure of seeing him again, but I remember him almost every day.

I was playing with Jack one day and had cause to adjust my knee brace.

Jack walked over to me and said:

"You've got to be tough to get old John. Tough to get old".

Now every morning when I get out of bed and wonder what sleep-injuries I endured during the night - will it be my back? my knee? my shoulder? some other body part?, I think of Jack and say to my self:

'You've got to be tough to get old John. Tough to get old".

Jack will be missed, but not forgotten..
