Obituary of Darlene Ann Holt

January 17, 1947 – Calgary, Alberta

May 4, 2024 – Didsbury, Alberta

Darlene Holt, of Airdrie, AB, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 77 years, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Calgary, AB, on January 17, 1947. Darlene will be remembered as a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a dedicated waitress and manager of Airdrie Mobile Home Park for over 40 years. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking for her family and playing cards and games with those she loved. Her kind and selfless nature made her loved by all those who knew her.

Darlene will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Lyle Holt, and their three children, Darrin, Eldon (Ashton), and Sheri (Nickolas). She also leaves behind her two brothers, Merv and Daryl (Cheryl).
 

Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Guttridge, and her sister, Cheryl Horsman.
