I got used to seeing Alastair in the summer, out in the Canadian Rockies. As tour guides, we often led our groups to the same places. Alastair always worked hard and never stopped looking after his groups. He was a true professional who will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Alastair; no early morning call tomorrow. Eric Hall

Alastair picked up a spanish-only tour group arriving in Calgary from Uruguay in 2022. I was the TCS motorcoach driver. We spent just over a week together and of the 60+ tours I have driven I can say he was among the top 5 best I ever had. He made the tour so pleasant and interesting for those passengers and me included. What a professional! He also made such a wonderful act of kindness to me that I will always fondly remember him for. He always joked with me in a sweet and humorous way (sitting directly behind me) and saying with an impish grin on his face: "Are we there yet?! Are we there yet?" .......Yes, my friend. You're at God's destination now, and may God rest you in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Alastair at Jonview Canada. He was the consummate professional!! He was passionate about his work as a Tour Director!! He was smart, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. He was highly respected by his colleagues. He will be sincerely missed.
