Melinda Gomez, aged 70, passed away on September 3, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She departed peacefully at her home in Calgary surrounded by loved ones.

Born on November 23, 1953, Melinda Gomez touched the lives of those around her with her strength, resilience, selflessness, and generosity. Despite facing the challenges of her illness, her spirit unwavered in the face of adversity. Melinda was a beacon of hope and an inspiration to everyone who knew her. The legacy of love and resilience she left behind will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in her journey.

Melinda will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the positive impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Melinda Gomez is survived by her loving family, including her husband Rodolfo Gomez, and two sons, Mikhail Gomez and Kirk Gomez.

Those wishing to pay their respects, a Celebration of Melinda’s Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
