The light of Mary’s life were her children and grandchildren. One day I was invited over to lunch and she opened the freezer and there in the ice tray was a frozen figurine of Hans Solo. She had been playing Star Wars with Lanie and nothing was out of bounds or too much trouble for Many when it came to her grandchildren.
