Obituary of Stephen (Steve) Michael Bohme

Stephen “Steve” Michael Bohme, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the age of 63 years.

Steve was born in Olds, AB, on October 6, 1960, and graduated from Camille J. Lerouge in Red Deer, AB. He worked over 25 years in janitorial supply sales. Steve accomplished much through his life but was particularly proud of marrying his French speaking wife, Lucille Lauzon.

Steve enjoyed wood working, loved watching baseball, canoeing and fishing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. His most memorable vacation was when he travelled to Nova Scotia. He will be most remembered for the beautiful items he created with wood that will forever be treasured.

Besides his loving wife Lucille, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Justin Chapman; his son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Tracy Bohme of Airdrie, AB; six grandchildren, Keira, Annika, Josiah, Gwendolyn, Noah, and Abigail, Airdrie, AB; and our cat Pepper.

Steve is also survived by his father, Ronald William Bohme, his two brothers and one sisters-in-law, Richard Bohme, and Daniel and Kelly Bohme; two sisters and one brothers-in-law, Terrie and John Kalaputas, and Janet Bohme. He was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Lee Bohme.
