Condolences
I was saddened to read about Brian's passing in June. Brian cut my hair every month for over 30 years from the day I found his salon until he retired. After he retired, I did threaten to show up at his home for a cut but that did not happen. I always loved my visits to Brian because not only did I get a great cut, but I had many interesting conversations with him about everything. Truly a highlight of my month. I felt I got to know him well over the years. I loved Brian and loved the people who worked with him.
After he retired, I was happy to read that he continued his many creative hobbies and world travel experiences with Pam by his side. Brian was a very special person. My condolences to Pam and Brian's family. He will be missed.

We drove up to calgary just 2 weeks before his passing and me and my mom talked Brian and pam for hours about old memories, their travels and future plans and his hairstyling career because I am becoming a hairdresser too, he passed me down a few pairs of his shears he used throughout his career and now more than before this gift means so much to me and I'll cherish and care for them forever. We were so fortunate to have 1 last visit with him
I was so sad to read of Brian’s passing this morning. I suppose it was fitting that it’s Saturday because I always saw Brian on Saturdays. I was one of his clients for about 30 years. There were always a lot of stories and jokes.
Pam, I remember the visit with you and Brian when I was in the hospital. It was so nice. My deepest condolences to you.
Just as Brian's personality lit up any room or conversation here on earth, I like to imagine his spirit now adds a special glow to the cosmos. He was an endearing friend for many years. My heart goes out to all his friends and family and especially to Pam. He will be sadly missed yet fondly remembered by many people. Luv 'n hugs Brian.

I first met Brian 40 years ago when he became my hairdresser. I moved to Toronto 3 years later, moved back to the area 17 years later, walked into his shop & was greeted with 'you're back'. In the ensuing years Brian and Pam became good friends of ours. Brian was always willing to lend a hand during difficult times. He generously gave us 'hands on help' following the 2013 flood. We enjoyed getting together with Brian & Pam whether they arrived on his motorcycle, sharing his delicious mushroom soup while dining at his home, vicariously enjoying Pam & Brian's amazing world travel tales, bringing homemade bread to his lovely home---We are deeply saddened by his passing. Brian and Pam shared a very deep and loving relationship. Our sincerest condolences to Pam & Brian's family.

Brian always had a twinkle in his eye, and that twinkle will forever be in the stars shining down on us. My deepest sympathies to Pam, and Brian's family.
It's been a few years since Brian and I had one of our annual motorcycle trips but we still shared many laughs about the many experiences we had on the road. From him being threatened by a cook with a meat cleaver in Prince George when he asked a waitress for a Latte and she thought he was propositioning her to washing the sheep skin he used on his motorcycle seat in a hotel room Jacuzzi. Scotch once the bikes were parked and cleaned for the day and orange juice in the fridge for the morning were non negotiable items.
We worked together on some house repairs and he always enjoyed learning how to approach a job or make things look good but above all be of high quality.
Wendy and I will miss his laugh, his support and his appreciation of life and friends.

To Pam, his family and friends we offer our condolences and share in the loss.
I had the pleasure of meeting Brian when I began attending his salon. I loved listening to his tales of his travels. He was always so full of life. When he retired, his long time friend Tim took over where Brian left off. I would ask Tim often about Brian and Pam and was so glad that Brian popped in recently for the appointment after mine so I got to catch up again. I am so glad I got to see him. My thoughts go out to you Pam, Tim and other family. Brian was one of a kind and will be missed.
Condolences to Pam, Ken and family on the unexpected passing of Brian. He always had compliments for others just like his father. He treated me very well and although we didn't get together often, when we did he was the best host and we loved every minute. We will miss him a great deal but know he's in a better place and can find peace in that.
Brian was the most Kind, wonderful and talented person. It was always a pleasure to sit in his chair to receive the most amazing and up to date haircut.
We are both saddened to hear of his passing

June 18, 2024.....My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Brian's brother, Ken, Paulette, their children and grandchildren, plus extended family and, of course, Pam.... all his friends and his "extended family". Brian was an extremely, highly creative person with so many unique talents and abilities. Truly admirable, in so many ways. His presence will be missed but his laughter will be heard "in the hallways" of all those who knew him, as he touched the lives of everyone he met, in a very beautiful way, May you rest in peace, knowing that you were loved.
Sending our sincere sympathy to you dear Pam. Our thoughts and prayers are with you

My most sincere condolences to Brian’s family, friends and colleagues. I did not know Brian well but I do know a lot of his family and I know how talented and creative he was.
Rest in Peace Brian. You have left a lot of yourself to be shared with many.
It is with a very sad heart that we received the news of Brian's passing. We have been neighbours for the past 8 years and somehow it seems impossible that he won't be beside us anymore. We always watched out for each other and could count on each other if we needed help. A great neighbour is a treasure and he will be very missed in our neighbourhood. May he rest in power and peace. With love from Sharlene & Jeremy (4304)
Have such fond memories as a kid with Uncle Brian, always giving us the fresh new hair cuts and taking us to Heritage Park. Now having children of my own and one following in your footsteps, we will miss your guidance. Love you forever and always
Terryl
