Condolences
Margo & Family
I am so very sorry to read of Ed’s passing. Jerry & I had many fond memories of times spent together with you & Ed. Although our time in Calgary was short it was enjoyable because of your friendship. My deepest condolences to you as I know what you are going through.
Margo and family,
My condolences to all; I as deeply sorry for your loss. Although I never meet Ed in person, I felt like I knew him through all of the many stories Margo would share with us when she worked at ATB. I could tell that Ed was a very special man the way Margo talked about him. I hope that peace finds you all and that you relish in all of the wonderful memories of have.
We send our sincere condolences to Margot & family.
Wish to share that Ed Ellis and I worked together at Montreal Trust for several years. He was unique in his approach to women in management and progressive beyond his time in appointing women in key positions. He hired me in Kelowna BC before his transfer to another post, at the cheapest price he could get me, of course. Ha! Ha! Our paths crossed over and over again during my tenure at Montreal Trust. When transferred to Calgary as Regional Manager of Financial Services for the Western Region at Ed's request, it was my dream job and was so very easy for me to respect and like a boss who was honest, hardworking and had loads of integrity and always supportive. My husband Henry and I had the privilege of sharing a personal friendship with Ed & Margot, perhaps because my husband being from the Maritimes helped connect like interests and values. May you rest in peace Ed and God bless.
