My sincere condolences goes out to Bess Bombardiere's family. I knew Bessie as Bess while working with her at Glenmore Park Auxillary Hospital. Bess and I spent many days talking about medications and how best to use them in the elderly. She always had a twinkle in her eyes.

Best was an incredible woman wherever she went she would just light up the room with her smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Our family enjoyed having conversations with her going for little walk alongs with her, and just hearing about the wonderful life that she led. she was blessed with three incredible children, who towards the latter part of her years who took Great care of her around the clock. As her neighbour for 21 years, we enjoyed some meals together, and some really good laughs her storytelling and her vivid memory of so many experiences she had with her friends and family, and her husband were just a joy to listen to all four of our children really were taken by her Many different ways and have fun memories of the times they spent with her. She will be truly missed. She is an incredible bright shining sta. a funny note to share, when she would go for walks which even well into her 90s she would walk quite far. her favourite was going to the co-op and dropping off mail and then she’d come back always with a smile. She used her walker and as time went on her walking, got slower and slower, and sometimes some of us would join her for a little stroll and she would say things like if I walk any slower, i may be going backwards . And we would say to her hey, at least you’re still out here walking and enjoying the beautiful weather. We have all been touched by her presence, and Our family is very grateful for that. Shon and Melissa McDougall and our family. Can’t forget about Addie, our dog who she really loved.
