Dear Lucy I will miss our time spent together on Monday afternoons. You always challenged and encouraged me to lean upon the Lord especially in this last year. I loved how you talked about God with such reverence, awe and love. Our prayer time together was sweet and filled with much praise to our Lord for answered prayer. God gave you to me for a season.I love you my friend. May Gods peace and comfort be with all your family and friends till heavens joyful reunion.

I am truly sorry for your loss. I attended Lucy’s women’s Bible study in her home 5 years ago. Her passion for God and sincere love for us ladies and the care and prayer for the things that were heavy on our hearts was so evident. I can still see her big smile and hear her beautiful laugh.

We did not formally meet Lucy, but we passed her family in the halls of Dulcina in her final days. Know that my thoughts are with you the family that remains. Wonderful to know that she is in heaven receiving her reward for a life well lived. God give you the comfort you need as you prepare to remember all she means to you. I want to express my deepest condolences to the Lutz family. You are in our daily thoughts and prayers during this time. She spoke so fondly of her family and we feel like we know you without having met you. I met Lucy almost 3 years ago in Pastor Wayne’s bible study. And Lucy did 1:1 bible study with me through the book of John until late July last year. Lucy was a spiritual mother to me, and I will never take for granted her gifts of Christian fellowship, wisdom and encouragement. My children and husband loved Lucy’s warmth and prayers, especially my teenage daughter. We rejoice that she is with Christ, and look forward to being reunited with her. She will be missed until then.
