Elmer was more than a friend to me. He was also like a father, a grandfather to me. When I met him, I was a newcomer to this country and didn't even speak English. He and his loving wife helped and supported me as if I was their own little girl. I can't find the words that could adequately pay tribute to this wonderful person. With his kindness and humor he made the world around him a better place. When a person passes away , the memory of him becomes a treasure. Granpa is gone but He will forever be in our hearts.

Well I worked with Elmer for many years at Rockyview Hospital. What a guy, helped to make a working day unlike work. He joined me through cancer at our gym and never missed a moment. I heard often of the wonderful world he shared with his wife. What a guy, what a friend. God bless
