My deepest sympathy to the family. Jess and I went to highschool together and played on the basketball team. I have the fondest memories of her smile, quick and sharp sense of humour, and attending her sweet 16.
Sending so much love to Teddy, and all who she held dear.
My sincere condolences to Jess's family and friends. We had the honour of having Jess as a preceptor to the rural Alberta Access for All program. She was so loved and appreciated by all patients and students. Her passion, kindness and compassion for our students and their patients will be remembered always. Jess was someone who embraced so many people with love and she cared so deeply. I am grateful I had the opportunity to know her and we will miss her so very much.
Sending all my love and prayers to the Alcazar family. Though Jess and I lost touch the last few years, memories of high school/university and our friendship have always held such pivotal moments in my life. She always had a beautiful soul - generous, fun, thoughtful, amazing sense of humour and was always there when you needed her. Always. May she rest in peace knowing she is so loved and the memories she helped create have a special place in my heart. With love, Steph Aldon
My deepest sympathy to Jess's family especially little Teddy. I have been lucky enough to know Jess through her 4 years at U of A School of Dentisty and over the last 10 years proud to call her my friend.
Her personality was effervescent and she could always make me smile. She cared deeply about her patients and built a great team in her office to care for them.
I will miss you Jess but never forget what joy you brought to my life.
Michelle
I was saddened to hear the passing of Jessica. I want to give my deepest condolences to her parents, siblings, close and extended family members. I had the privilege to be one of her instructor in her dental training. I fondly remember Jessica's smile and kindness. May her soul rest in peace. Ivonne
Sending heartfelt condolences to Jess’ family.
I was devastated by the news of Jess’ passing. She was an extraordinary person who touched so many lives with her kindness, energy, and compassion. I feel blessed that she was part of my work family for ten years. I have so many fun memories to remember her by, her presence already missed, but her smile and laughter will be part of me forever.
My heart goes out to you and your family during this unimaginable time. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Kim Gowdy

My condolences to Jessica’s entire family. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.
I was a former classmate at one point in elementary when Jessica and her sister Kathryn went to St. Paul’s Elementary School in Richmond B.C. I remember when my Lola used to look after Jessica and Kathryn after school. I remembered how Jessica and I were neighbours at one point and I would hang out at their place sometimes, go for bike rides around the neighborhood, etc. After elementary is when we lost contact with each other. I wish we had not lost that communication and stayed friends.
Jessica, thank you for being a friend to me at one point when we were in Elementary. I am glad that I got the chance to meet you in my life.
Rest in Paradise Jessica.
You will be missed and loved by many!
My Deepest condolences go out to Jessica's family, extended family, friends, and loved ones.
Jessica and I were really good friends while we were at the University of Calgary. I will forever remember her many acts of kindness to me; having dim sum, driving me home, hanging out listening to music, and lending an ear to talk about anything. She was my biggest support system while I was going through a time of extreme grief. She always knew how to comfort me, by bringing me some sort of sweets such as: Cookies by George.
I will forever cherish our friendship during that time of my life, and she will be missed by many that had the pleasure of crossing paths with her. Rest in Paradise

Such a beautiful soul inside and out. Jessica, you did so much for our class. From Baking to giving us notes when we could not get our butts out of bed to attend early lecture. I remember when we went on ski trip together, you made us PB and J sandwich’s. I’ve never had a sandwich with so much peanut butter in my life and we laughed about it . The way you said “ I love peanut butter” just made me laugh. It was a random memory but it was something that kept coming to my mind over the last few days.
Most sincere condolences to all of Jessica’s friends and family.
Rest in peace sweet girl. You were deeply loved and you will be missed.
You were our first baby before we had our own. We enjoyed babysitting you.
You brought so much joy on our family get-togethers and vacations. We will always cherish those memories.
We love you, Jejess and will miss you.

I was at Jessica’s wedding in Calgary and that moment was filled with joy. Every year she didn’t fail sending me christmas cards with her and Teddy in the photos. Saw her in Banff last May. Jessica is a vibrant lively person with always a smile on her face. Your memories will always remain. I love you Jessica. Tita Nancy.
Jessica was one of a kind. She worked hard to achieve her dreams; she lived life to the fullest; and most of all, she loved her family and friends fiercely. She showed it in every way she could: by being there at every reunion, by making a point to meet up whenever she was in town, or simply by reaching out.
We are blessed to have had Jessica as our cousin and miss her terribly already.
Love you and thinking of you, Jessica.

I will always remember Jessica as a jolly, energetic, kind person who loves adventures. We had wonderful memories growing up. Adventures in the Philippines, Canada, USA and somewhere in between.
Rest in peace cousin.
