Condolences
We were Erika’s neighbours for 6 years, and she was such a warm and welcoming person. Erika was an avid gardener and would give us tips and tricks on our backyard. She was so generous with her time and always greeted us with a big smile and wave.
Our deepest condolences to her son and family during this hard time.
With hugs,
Shalane and Nick Friesen
We are so incredibly saddened over the passing of our very good friend
Erika McLeod
We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to
Erika’s son and his wife
Brent and Anita
and all of the family.
We are thinking of you and hope you find strength and peace in all of your loving
memories that you keep in your hearts.
I have known Erika for many years, where we had developed a strong friendship.
Erika had such an outgoing personality, was
one of the kindest people,
and she would do anything for people who needed help!
She was an artist in sewing and embroidery, also had a green thumb for gardening. She enjoyed herself in many of these activities.
Erika had a dry sense of humour and made us laugh so many times,
when she mixed English and German together.
We cannot count the coffees that we had together…
Prost coffee!!
My dear friend Erika, I will miss you so much!
Our friend
Christina Ingrid
sends her sincere condolences
to Brent and Anita.
The most special song was rooted in

We certainly loved our wonderful longtime neighbour and friend Erika. She was a generous, caring, talented woman with a great sense of humour who appreciated anything my husband or I did for her. We also appreciated anything she did for us like watching our house or watering the garden when we were away, always so friendly with my whole family and amused because she shared the same birthday as my dad. I will miss our visits, having a cup of tea, listening to her life stories, sharing our gardening interests and love of family, etc.
Sending our sincere condolences Brent.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Erika's demise. I worked with Erika in the 1980s. In addition to her outward beauty, she was also extremely intelligent and well-organized. Sharing a task with her was incredibly simple. She was a very pleasant individual, and I really loved working with her.
With pride, she spoke of her son Brent. She would occasionally bring her mother to the store so we could speak Polish as her mother was fluent in that language.
I lost touch with Erika when I moved on, but I frequently wondered how she was doing.
My sincere sympathies go out to Erika's family.
