Condolences
So sorry for the loss of Clare.
She was a lovely lady and an inspiration to me over the 40 years that I was privileged to get to know her both personally and professionally.
Clare was inevitably very positive in spite of her numerous medical challenges.
In recent years ,as I was travelling ,Clare kept me updated with her newsy emails of her and her families activities.
I always enjoyed our luncheon visits, as we had lots of laughs reminiscing .
I will miss those now that she is gone.
Hopefully all your past memories will help you through this difficult time and into the future.
Hugs to you all,Sandy Foss
So very sorry to hear of Clare's passing
We were warm friends for many years - with much in common in church, music ,politics and 'things Brit'
I'll miss her regular stream of emails - always filled with good humour , knowledge and constant display of intestinal fortitude!
Sincere condolences to all members of the family

Clare was a wonderful caring lady. Pat and I first met Clare and Robert when we started attending Holy Cross(then St. Cyprians,) church in 1974 or 75. As fellow Brits we soon became good friends and socialised sharing lots of stories. These were fun and most enjoyable times. Roberts early death was devastating to Clare, her family and all their friends. They were always so kind and understanding. Clare's fortitude and bravery as her health deteriorated was awe inspiring.
We will miss her greatly and send our most sincere condolences to all members of her family.

Rest in peace to the woman who 'recruited' me for Beavers, which led to several years in Cubs. Enjoyed reconnecting with her in '96 and '01, the latter being the only time that I met Robert. Now, she's reunited with Cliff, Mary N., Chuck and my Mum-to say nothing of loved ones.
Clare and Bob were our special neighbours next door in Foothills Estates for 25 years. We were very close then and they watched our two girls grow up as did we, their three of four boys. Chris had already left home by then. Our children called them Uncle Bob and Auntie Clare. We fondly remember many visits and outings together. Our sincere condolences to their families at this time of great loss. Elly and Murray Bateman
Clare has been a wonderful friend since 1984, when we both sang in St. Cyprian’s choir and shared organ duties. For the last several years, we have emailed every morning, and got together about once a week. I feel as if I have lost a very special part of my life, and I’m sure her family do too. Her spirit lives on in her sons and lovely grandchildren - still making the world a better place!
