Hello,

My father has lived at Lake Bonavista Village for over 10 years, and I have been blessed to visit with Lawrence often. He was the kindest man. He always had time to chat with me and any time I brought my young granddaughters to have supper with my dad, Lawrence would always stop by to talk to them, put his hand in his pocket and give them a quarter.

He cared so much for his friends at LBV. He will be missed so much.

My mom lives at Lake Bonavista Village and we both enjoyed visiting with Lawrence. He called my mom “the lady from Tees”, which is where she was born and raised before finishing high school in Lacombe. We talked about his time growing up in Lacombe and how the highway went through the family farm. He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to be around.

I have known Lawrence for almost 3 years since moving into Lake Bonavista Retirement Residence. We played bridge together

and shared many jokes. I send my deepest sympathy to all of you.
