Obituary of Wayne Frederick Robertson

July 9, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Wayne Robertson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the age of 88 years.

Wayne was born in Comox, BC, on February 23, 1936. He moved to Calgary with his wife Gail and daughter Dana in 1972. Wayne loved skiing and golf, and his most memorable vacation besides Hawaii was when he travelled to Australia to finally meet his stepdad, Clive Craddock, who married his mother Grace (nee Ward).

Wayne is survived by his daughter Dana and son-in-law Ray; as well as his wife Gail (nee McCranor), all of whom reside in Calgary. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity by numerous friends and co-workers.

A Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held at Roma Catering & Deli (2626 23 St NE, Calgary AB) on Thursday, August 22, 2024, beggining at 1:00 p.m. with a Toast to Wayne staring at 2:00 p.m. Please RSVP to studio222calgary@gmail.com.
