Condolences
To Lynne and family ,
My deepest condolences. I never had the privilege of meeting Dennis , I did however hear stories of his early years with Southland . My prayers and thoughts are with you all

I met Dennis when the family hired me to write Judge Brennan's biography a number of years back. Dennis (and his siblings!) had many great memories and made it so easy to go through old family pictures for the book. I remember Dennis as being courteous, friendly and willing to spend as much time as I needed to complete the project. My heart goes out to all his loved ones; may you find peace, comfort and joy as you share memories of him.
I was so sad to read that Dennis Brennan had passed away,
at such a young age?
Therefore I am sending my sincere condolences to the family.
How do I know Dennis?, I worked for Southland Transportation
for 10 years, of course as a school bus driver and Dennis, Sparky,
Bill Sparksman and June Read were my bosses who treated me
with great respect, and I made them very proud of me when
I won the White Hatter Award for best bus driver, and that included
the city bus driver?
Again so so very sorry to hear of Dennis's passing.

I have so many fond memories of Dennis growing up. He was the gentle towhead boy surrounded by his 3 beautiful sisters.
He managed being the only boy with grace even when we vacationed together and he had to tolerate 7 girls. Dennis had a beautiful smile and sense of humour. It was so striking later in life to see Dennis again and his likeness to Judge Brennan. His looks, voice and big laugh. He definitely carried on the Irish Heritage!!
My sincerest condolences to Lyne and her daughters.
Also, my sympathy to Laurie, Kerry and Janie. I can imagine your sense of loss in losing a sibling.
Dennis will be so missed but hopefully fond memories will give you comfort.
Warmly,
Francey Rauch
My deepest condolences to Dennis's family and friends.I was Dennis's Caregiver for the last 2.5 years and Dennis was the kindest man and always had a good sense of humor.RIP Dennis. You will be missed but never forgotten!Heaven gained another Angel.
I worked at Southland Transportation from 1985 to 1997, both driving and in dispatch, and Dennis always made our day when he came in with a big smile. He was an awesome man to work for. May I extend my deepest condolences to Lynne, Mallory, Erin and their families and may you find peace at this time.

Dennis and I were in school together at St Augustines in the sixties. He was two years younger than me. We were in a Christmas concert together. He was a sheep with sheep skin over him and I was the soloist for the night. O Holy Night. He came up to me after and said how much he loved that song. It was so sweet to hear from a boy in Grade 7. His love of music started early .So pleased to see he had a lovely life but still too short. God bless you Dennis. Anna Marie Kopp (Heynen)
