Condolences
Growing up I was lucky to spend a lot of time with Uncle Bob. He was a kind man and a great uncle, visits with him were always looked forward to. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to spend time with him for far too long, he will always have a special meaning for me. May everyone’s fond memories of Uncle Bob bring peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Our condolences for your loss. Uncle Bob was a wonderful caring man who had an impact on whomever he met. Rest in peace Uncle Bob. All our love. MaryAnn & Doug
To Pam, Tara, Rhonda, David and families,
I'm so sorry to learn about Robert's passing. I will miss sharing a scotch with him after driving Pam home from the theatre. He was always kind and displayed a great sense of humour.
We were sad to hear of Bob’s passing. He was a great neighbour for many years. Great garden as well!
Barry and Trudy Curtis.
Pam and family, my sincere condolences, I was very sad to hear of your loss.
Robert Geals was an amazing man, and an even better Grandpa. We will never forget you! ❤️❤️
I will always remember him driving his Big Red Truck. Our yearly trips to Summerland B.C as a family will never be the same without you. The smile on his face when he was holding a Summerland Sweets Ice cream is something I will never forget. Or stopping halfway to BC so both of my siblings and I could all climb into the back of his truck to watch movies, and all of us struggling for the first half an hour trying to figure out how to get the movie to play. He also had the best candy and snacks in his truck for whenever his grandkids were driving with him!
As a kid I remember going to his house for sleepovers and to this day I have not had a better blueberry pancake! Eating 10-15 pancakes in one sitting didn't seem that crazy then they were grandpa's homemade pancakes!
Another memory that I will never forget is our yearly Polar express watch party. Around Christmas time the entire family would get together to watch the Polar Express, and every single year when the conductor yelled "all aboard" grandpa would say "If you can't get a board get a plank" and even after many years the entire family would laugh. You will forever be missed.
Thank you for everything you have done for all of your grandkids. He was always the first call when any of my siblings or I had car troubles. I drove to his house many, MANY times to ask stupid questions and no matter what it was he always had a smile on his face wear his dirty grey overalls happy to help. He was there to help my oldest sister buy her first car, and he was there when I bought my first car.
Life will not be the same without you. Rest In Peace. We love you!
You lived an amazing and memorable life, you will always have a place in my heart.
I am lucky to be able to call you my grandpa! ❤️❤️
Robert was an amazing man and an even better Grandpa. I will never forget his Big Red Truck and seeing the smile on his face when he was holding a Summerland sweets ice cream cone. He was always the first call when me or my siblings had car troubles.
We can't forget the most amazing blueberry pancakes I have ever tasted every morning when I stayed the night. Eating 10-15 pancakes was only possible when he was the one who made them.
You will be missed, you will always be the joyful, happy man in the Big Red Truck filled with awesome candy for your grandkids smiling on the beach in Summerland!!
I love you Grandpa!!
I am so very sorry to hear about Roberts passing. Pam, Tara, Rhonda and David know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed my visits with Robert when camping and other times. I could see the love he had for all of you.
I will always remember, and miss the great conversations I've had with Robert over the years. His passion for life and family was always very evident during those talks. You could see the pride in his face when talking about family and sharing memories. Our annual Grey Cup parties are just not going to be the same. Rest in peace Robert. Heather and I send our sincere condolences to all the family.

Pam, Tara, Rhonda, David and all the grandkids
We will really miss Robert. We will always remember the great times we had camping together especially the dropped turkey. We will remember the fun we had golfing, and Robert determined to find his ball when it went missing. We will remember all the good times when we were together especially riding our bikes when we were camping at Mount Kidd, and Robert and Glen chasing the bear with their cameras. We will miss him sitting across from us at Stage West for so many years.
Love
Marilyn and Glen

Robert was an incredible dad and grandpa. Always there to help and always on the sidelines to watch his grandkids play sports! Holidays in Summerland are my favourite memories! Quality grandpa camping time for the kids!
Robert will always be remembered with his quiet smile and kind heart! I love you! - Rhonda
Uncle Bob was a kind gentle soul Lots of fond memories as a child going on vacations Always loved our annual phone calls at Christmas Heaven has gained another wonderful angel to look over us Condolences to Auntie Pam and family and friends God bless
Uncle Bob was a gentleman, kind soft spoken man who I have many fond memories of time spent with our family. He loved to laugh and I will treasure his "uncleness" forever
I only had the opportunity to meet Robert once at a family get-together and I found him to be a most lovely man. He was so kind and welcoming to me - just like a was a member of his family. I could tell that he loved his family very much and would do anything for them. I believe he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. The world has lost a beautiful soul. God bless you and rest in peace, Richard.
Robert was such an amazing dad and grandpa! He was always there to help us and his grandkids. My fondest memory of him was when he RAN to see my son Finn at the gate after Finn’s high school football game. Robert was 84 and walked very slow, but not that night. He RAN with joy in his heart…..a proud grandpa! Will miss you so much!!!!! I loved you dearly and so did Leif, Finn and Keen. May the angels love you like we did ❤️
Pam, Randy and I were so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. You both have been wonderful neighbours. We are here to help you in any way we can.
