Condolences
I have known stories about Michael long before I met him… his relationship with my good friend, Nadine, was always one I wish I’d had with a sibling.
I got to know Michael later into high school, when we sat together in art class. I always looked forward to chumming around with him in class and laughing at each other’s mess-ups, while at the same time encouraging each other to keep going. He was genuinely one of the kindest “boys” I had ever met and was such a gentleman when we went to his grad together in 2001.
Although we didn’t keep in touch beyond graduation, I have always thought so highly of him, and was thrilled to hear he’d gotten married and then had two sweet children many years down the road. I knew that was a very lucky family, to have such a kind-hearted soul as a father. I am so sorry for their loss, for his entire family’s loss, and all of those closest to him. I know his presence will be sorely missed, and I hope the memories of his smile and good nature will live on through you all. Deepest sympathies and kindest regards, from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
My condolescences to Mike’s family, I am so sad to hear of his passing. It is a huge loss for everyone that knew him. He was such a kind and genuine soul, and I remember he had such a positive outlook. He always made me laugh at work, and I have very fond memories of mountain biking in K-country with him. He will be missed.

Mike was kind, genuine and uplifting in every circumstance I interacted with him. I especially remember in the early years I shared with him in the same group working at Imperial, where we would catch each other on the C-Train to work and after work as we both had a condo in the same building west end of downtown. We would always come away with a smile after sharing some jokes to start the day off right or end off on a high note after we had a challenging day. My deepest condolences to his family and those close to him.

Gary and I were deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. He has been a dear friend to our son Andrew for over 35 years, during which time we came to know and love him, from his younger days sleeping over in our basement, through the teen years to weddings and the arrival of children. He was always so kind, caring and fun to be with, but will be most remembered for his glowing smile.

Shirley and I send our deepest condolences and prayers to all of Mike’s family! He was a true friend and supportive coworker whose big smile, infectious laugh made my early days in Calgary most enjoyable and memorable.
He will never be forgotten and will be missed greatly!

I’m heartbroken to hear of Mike’s passing, my deepest condolences to your family. I have very fond memories of working with Mike over the years, especially when he got to be the newcomer joining our all girl opportunity management team! He was such a great team-mate and person, he will be missed by all of us and remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Mikey’s light shined so vividly. His energy and smile were infectious. Loved the times we got to spend together talking ‘shop’ about our VW passion. My world was a better place with him in it, but darker knowing he’s gone. Going to miss him. Much love and support to his family and friends ❤️
Our heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of your husband. We are so sorry for your loss.
May he rest in peace.
