Obituary of Arturo Pedro Brcek

Arturo Brcek, beloved husband of Zally Navarro, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the age of 61 years.

Born in Cabimas, Venezuela, on January 10, 1963, Arturo immigrated to Canada in 2008 and made Calgary his home. On July 4, 1996, he married Zally Navarro.

Arturo earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Zulia and later completed a postgraduate degree, Magister Scientiarum, in Business Management with a specialization in Financial Management.

Arturo’s life was filled with numerous achievements, each of which he took great pride in. He cherished every moment spent with his family and had a profound love for travel, always eager to discover new countries and cultures. His trips to Europe were particularly memorable.

Besides his loving wife, Arturo is survived by his only son, Arturo David. He is also survived by his mother, Lucy Cachazo de Brcek, and his brothers, Andres Brcek and Leonardo Brcek; who reside in the Czech Republic.
