I miss you Man. I met Rick at the Dream Centre’s housing program in 2017. At first he seemed an unhappy old man. But after some time I realized that he was a kind, understanding and empathetic human who showed me how an older brother it to be. He was always down for a conversation about whatever and could update his ideas of life and its happenings. I am honoured and grateful to have been a friend to him. I miss helping him however I could.

Very sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I was able to visit him in the hospital a little over a year ago now, thanks to Kevin. He was the cool guy on his Honda 750 and was ALWAYS good to me. I will always be greatful for him finding us mildly amusing and later on sharing some laughs with him on the bench or in the dressing room. Condolences to the entire Mooney Clan.

I wish to express my condolences on the passing of Rick. There are so many memories of the quiet Rick. He spent a fair amount of time at our home, hanging with Pat and Rene, pretty much a second home for him. It’s never easy saying goodbye, all we can do is hold onto those memories, and pull them out once in awhile. I remember you vividly Rick, and was deeply touched when you sent me a note of encouragement after my heart attack. I wish all the Mooneys much love and light hearts. Shelley C
