Condolences
"Diane & family,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Diane, I recall you speaking so highly of him. He is forever in your heart & you are all in our prayers.
Debra & Julian Zarowny"
Very sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Don. Our duck-hunting trips were much more special when Don came along, providing endless laughter and joyful times. His storytelling and jokes were legendary.
I last spoke with Uncle Don a couple years ago when he phoned and talked about duck hunting. Ironically, I happened to be at the local pond, watching the ducks.
My condolences to Aunt Margaret, and to the girls Elaine, Linda, Kathy and Dianne.
Dear Aunt Marg,
We received the sad news from Pat Goulet, of Uncle Don’s passing. Our
sincere condolences to you, Elaine, Linda, Diane, and family. There is
never enough time, even when we are old there is much to talk about and
many memories to re-visit. Although I didn’t spend a lot of time with Uncle
Don, I did feel that there was a Thorsell connection when we spoke. As
you know, I learned more about my ‘Western relatives’ after Gramma
Thorsell asked Maggie and I to keep an eye on ‘young Alan’ those many
years ago. Many visits out west to be with Loren and Audrey, helped to
connect the family history and make me aware of my many Thorsell
relatives. I have attached a couple of pictures, some taken when Maggie
& I hosted Loren & Audrey’s 50th Wedding anniversary. Another one was
given to us by Gramma Thorsell. Time speeds along so quickly and as an
80 year old, I’m experiencing its
passage faster than I wish - Oh
the questions I wish I had
asked!
Please know that our thoughts
and prayers are with you and
your family as you journey
through this sad and heart-
tugging time.
Love,
David, Maggie, Karen, Laura,
Steve, and families.
I feel like uncle Don had a warm spark of energy that he gave to all that he did - and that Marg, along with their four daughters, nourished that in him, in turn. May heartfelt respect for him, Marg and all in the family. Love and blessings for what has been, and for the road ahead. With love, Corinne
