We knew Helmet as teenagers onward. He was an exceptional person, always pleasant, helpful and always had a little chuckle when sharing stories. One of Alex's most memorial holiday was spent with Helmet in Tasmania and the Australian outback, kayaking, bushwhacking, camping and driving through lightning and dust storms that we thought we wouldn't make it through. He was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed.
