Condolences
It was a wonderful service. Wish I could have attended in person. Celebrating your life. Thinking about you and the memories from way back when. You valued true genuine connection and it was evident last time we saw each other. You were so happy to catch up even if it was for just a few mins. Rest Easy Chris
We send our heartfelt condolences, our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you.
Chris was such an amazing guy, not many possess the combination of spirit, bravery, intelligence and kindness he shared with the world. A true character, Chris was one of my favorite people growing up, whether it be through trash talking banter, practical jokes played on each other or finding trouble on the "Northside", Chris was a great friend to have. I first got to know Chris when I was in Grade 9 through Rugby, he was a year a head of me, but took me under his wing as a teammate and friend. We ended up travelling to Argentina together on a Rugby tour which was an amazing experience. Through our friendship Chris was always a "shirt of his back" friend, he was reliable, supportive and always had high energy enthusiasm for whatever we were doing. Some of my best high school memories were spent cruising in his famous brown mini van, burning CDs in his basement, figuring out how to buy beers without ID, finding parties around town, playing sports and just chilling out. Chris was a phenomenal athlete in both Rugby and Football, tenacious as hell and never one to back down from a challenge. I also had the opportunity to work with Chris, where he was a compassionate and driven person in the support world. Chris was such a good guy, he gave the best of himself to everyone, I'm deeply saddened by his passing, my thoughts are with Christine and family.
I can confirm his love for hot sauce. I fondly recall an evening with Chris and Christine having wings. Chris brought out his lineup of sauces and we went through all of them. We couldn't feel our faces after awhile and Chris was sweating buckets the whole time. Chris was also always up for an adventure. I recall touring the mimico area bars with him one night just so he could say he'd been to them. If you ever decide you want cake with a beer, we found the bar for you in mimico. I'll miss you Chris. Love you.
