Obituary of Lewis Richard Lutzak

July 29, 2024 - Calgary, Alberta

Lewis Lutzak of Calgary, AB, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

He is survived by his beloved son, Jason (Kelly), and his two cherished grandchildren, Lucas and Ana.

Lewis was predeceased by his loving wife Nadia, who passed away in 2012 after 43 years of marriage, as well as his parents and his two sisters, Janet and Olivia.

In the spring and fall, Lewis was a dedicated supporter of his grandkids, attending their ball games whenever he could. He took great pride in being a grandpa.

During the summer, he enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in southern Alberta. He loved gathering around the campfire with family and friends, sharing stories, and watching his grandkids and their friends enjoy the beach and play.  

In the winter, Lewis loved working on his incredible model train. He took great pleasure in sharing stories about his design ideas and any progress he made each day.

Lewis will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
