It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Joshua Daniel Peters, on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 39 years. Joshua was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose creativity and passion for life left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Born to Tracy Lacroix and Randall Peters, Joshua was lovingly supported and cared for by his mother Tracy, and her husband Tim Lacroix, as well as his father Randall, and his wife Jennifer Peters. He is also survived by his brother Colton Peters, and Colton’s wife, Lindsay; his stepsisters, Alyssa Pennetti (née Lacroix) and her husband, Alex, and Madison Lacroix; his sister Tammy Peters, his Grandma Peters, his Nana Van Ness, and many aunts and uncles. His family, a blended network of love and support, was a constant source of strength, and Joshua deeply valued the time he spent with them.
Joshua was a talented author who created stories set in the worlds of Pokémon and My Little Pony. His creativity extended to personal drawings and colourful stickers, which brought joy to his family and friends. They provided immense pleasure to those close to him, who often found themselves reflected in his imaginative tales. Joshua’s unique stories and illustrations were a true reflection of his character, and his legacy will endure through the cherished memories he has left behind.
The Dominican Republic held a special place in Joshua’s heart. It was more than a travel destination; it was a sanctuary where he found peace, happiness, and inspiration. The beauty of the landscapes and the warmth of the people there filled him with joy and a sense of belonging.
Joshua's warmth and unwavering positivity had a profound impact on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his remarkable spirit.
