Obituary of Leo Gillis

June 12, 1948 – Antigonish, Nova Scotia

September 3, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sorrow that the family of Leo Gillis announces his passing on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the age of 76 years.

Leo is survived by his son James (Cathy), his daughter Jennifer, three granddaughters, Emily, Rachel, and Sydney; and grandson Robert. He is also survived by many extended family and friends who loved him.

He was predeceased by his wife Ava Gillis in 2013.

A Celebration of Leo’s Life will be held, with details to follow.
