Obituary of Mary Ella Boudreau
December 20, 1931– Arichat, Nova Scotia
September 12, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
Mary Ella Boudreau, of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the age of 92 years.
Ella was born in Arichat, NS, on December 20, 1931. She married Arthur Boudreau on January 4, 1954. In 1972, they moved to Calgary, AB, with their three children where they raised their family. Ella enjoyed being a wife and mother, she took pride in maintaining a lovely home for her family. Ella treasured the holidays when she could decorate the house and prepare family dinners. She loved listening to music, baking, making crafts, and long-distance chats with her brothers and sisters. She had strong faith, with the Church being an important part of her life.
She is survived by her daughter Rose, sons, Ronald (Ricki) and Daniel; and grandchildren, Rebecca, Benjamin, Dominique, and Dorian. Ella is also survived by five siblings, Helen, Ronald, Isable, Alvin, and Jeanette. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, son Lester, sisters, Jean and Irene; brother Leon, and parents, Simon and Evelyn.
Ella was a very kind and gentle person. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Providence Care Centre (149 Providence Boulevard SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Care Centre.
