Obituary of Beverley Joan Devost

Beverley (Tronnes) Devost, born on November 22, 1938, passed away Friday, September 13, 2024, at the age of 85 years old.
Beverley is survived by five children, Debra (Phil), Kennith (Nancy), Lori, Timothy (Jennifer), and Theresa (Trevor); her sister Carol Derowin, eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Cody, Michelle (Dylan), Marcel, Tyler, Mitchell (Grace), Dustin and Kali; five great-grandchildren, Justin (Haley), Braeden, Landen, Abby and Hudson; and one great-great-grandchild Kelly, and many nieces and nephews. Beverley was predeceased by her husband Marcel, infant daughter Linda, her brother Allan, sisters, Doris and Delphine; and her father and mother, Carl and Pearl Tronnes.
Always sharp and ahead of the game, mom had a witty remark to share that left everyone in laughter. She enjoyed travelling, loved a good game of cards and family gatherings. Her proudest moments were seeing her grandchildren.
Mom gifted us with her wisdom and love that always centred around the importance of family, these values will be passed on to the many generations to come. She was our stronghold, she grounded us, guided us and kept us whole and true.
Mom’s kindness and love touched everyone, both family and friends. She will always be held so close in our hearts, so deeply loved and will always be cherished, and forever be missed.
A Celebration of Beverley’s Life will be held at the Airdrie United Church (212 – 1st Avenue NE, Airdrie, AB) on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Woodside Seniors Club (411 Woodside Dr NW, Airdrie, AB T4B 2C6).
