Condolences
Condolences to Jeanette and family. We really enjoyed meeting Garth at our weekly dances.
Hugs to Jeanette. From Doug & Judy Green.
Sending love and our deepest condolences to you Jeannette, Tracey, Neil & families. Garth was a wonderful husband, father, and great grandfather and a very special friend.
When one googles a “true friend” these are a few of the returns one gets…supportive, honest, caring, compassionate, loyal, sincere & encouraging. Garth, you were all of those and way more. We have such fond memories of camping, dancing and just spending time with you both @ Sundre.
Garth loved living and he lived life to the fullest, supportive & caring about people around him. Always willing to give a helping hand. He was always polite, a great listener and story teller. He loved children which is obvious in how his children & his grandchildren have become as adults. My grown children have fond memories of fun times with Uncle Garf. He always had time for children whether it was games, puzzles, stories or building bird houses for schools where he and Jeannette would patiently show the children how to put them together.
You will be missed by so many people Garth. Rest in Peace our dear friend.

I was so sorry to hear of Garth’s passing…I will always remember how kind he and Jeanette were to me all those years ago when I worked with Cindy…I was welcomed into their home many times. I hope the family will find comfort in their beautiful memories in the days ahead

I am saddened to hear our world has lost a wonderful man in Garth. While I’ve missed him the last few years, I loved having him come build birdhouses at Bearspaw with all my students and have very fond memories of all the smiles on those days. Garth will be missed.
Jeanette, Tracy and family. We’re so saddened by Garth’s passing. He was one of a kind gentleman who loved to help and teach people. His enthusiasm and joy of life was infectious. I very much appreciated his guidance on advanced Calgary tomato growing and of course, wood working. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeanette and family. The Olsen’s
