Condolences
Our condolences to the family on Jim’s passing
Jim was always ready to have a chat when we were heading down the sidewalk by his moms place
We enjoyed his impromptu conversations when we lived in Irricana
Jim was our neighbor for 25 years and we really enjoyed his stories and his shared knowledge of plants. He gave us a beautiful clemantis and a yellow rose that thrived for many years under his advice. "Make sure the roots of the clemantis are well shaded and give the rose some food. Use bone meal when you plant bulbs" are some of the things I learned from Jim. His raspberries were fat and delicious and he used to let us pick all we wanted. My memories of Jimmy could fill a book. I was honoured to be on the Centennial Committee when we chose him and Dorothy Walker to share the duties of parade marshal. Rest well, Jim. A life well lived.
