Obituary of Norma Jean Roantree

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, Norma Jean Roantree passed away peacefully at the Southwood Care Centre in Calgary, AB, at the age of 96 years.

Norma was born on November 30, 1927, in Brantford, ON, the eldest of four children to the late Ab and Win Roantree.

Norma was predeceased by her brothers, Jack and Don; and sister-in-law Joan. She is survived by her sister Carol (Larry) Shaw, and sister-in-law Shirley Roantree. Norma will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Southwood Care Centre for their kindness and care of Norma during her final years.

In accordance with Norma’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service, and cremation has taken place.
