Obituary of Marion Rose Bearhat

Marion Bearhat made her journey to be with the Lord on Friday, September 27, 2024, at the age of 64 years. Her journey also reunites her with the love of her life and best friend, Rick Bearhat Sr., with whom she shared 39 beautiful years of life and marriage.

Marion was born on March 3, 1960, in Gleichen, AB, to Clara Many Bears and Chester McMaster; she is one of five sisters. 

Marion’s love for her family was deep and profound, she adored all her uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Marion met the love of her life, Rick Bearhat Sr., in 1980, marrying in 1984. Together they opened their own church, “Spirit Filled Ministries” in 1994, and would travel all over Canada and the United States to minister, making numerous friends whom she considered family. Marion was blessed with a motherly gift and shared it abundantly with all she encountered. Her laughter and smile were enough to gravitate you towards her. She was a pharmacy technician and worked for Siksika Health for fourteen years. She was proud of her Crow family and loved them very much.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Sandra Blackface; your support has helped the family tremendously in their time of grief and loss.

Marion will be greatly missed by her children, Marlon, Marla (Curtis), and Rick “Baby Rick” Jr.; grandchildren, Cheyanne, Riker, Shania, Pashence, Knox, Rick III, and Dior.

She also leaves to mourn, her beloved sister Lorena McMaster and many spiritual and adopted brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, sons, and daughters.

She was predeceased by her husband Rick Bearhat Sr., grandparents, James and Alice Many Bears; parents, Clara Many Bears and Chester McMaster; siblings, Angela McMaster, Amragene McMaster (who passed as an infant), and Hester McMaster.
