Obituary of Teresito Perada Alamag
October 3, 1949 – Rosario, Philippines
October 11, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
Teresito Alamag, beloved husband of the late Nancy Alamag (nee Barral), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
Teresito was born in Rosario, Batangas, Philippines, on October 3, 1949. He immigrated to Calgary, AB, in 2002. Teresito graduated from Lipa City Colleges in the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
He was an active member of the Couples for Christ, Marriage Encounter, and Bukas Loob sa Diyos.
Teresito’s favourite saying was, “Less talk, less mistake”. His favourite songs included “My Love Will See You Through”, “My Way”, and “Doon Lang”. He will be most remembered for his jokes and laughter.
Teresito is survived by his three daughters and their spouses, Karen and Benny, May and Rulphie, and Ivy and Jerick; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bimbo, and King and Tina; eleven grandchildren, CK, CJ, Matan, Riona, Ranea, Caila, Gavin, Martin, Ella, Maxine, and Ava; and three grandpets, Ryder, Luna and Rem.
Teresito is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Tony; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Amado and Evelyn, Eddie and Liza, and Adelio and Rina; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Teresito was predeceased by his wife Nancy, parents, Juan and Concepcion; brother and sister-in-law, Patricio and Thelma; and daughter-in-law Christina.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Community (800 85 St SW, Calgary, AB), on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at McInnis & Holloway (Deerfoot South, 12281 – 40th Street SE, Calgary, AB).
