Condolences
What a lovely service. Madeline, it was a shock when I heard of Neil's passing and I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of Neil to your whole family. The Neil I knew was well captured in each Tribute. Each Tribute so well written, honest and heartfelt in delivery, gave another glimpse of the Neil I knew. The encyclopedic knowledge, the attention to detail, willingness to mentor and genuine care Neil displayed both about the topic at hand and for the people around him were all captured, including the quiet humor of the man.
I worked with Neil for a number of years in the Land industry and learned from him there, both professionally but more importantly I learned from his example of how to try to be the best father and person I could be, Even years after working with Neil I always knew he would take a call to discuss a tricky file, where I knew, that one short questions would only end after a long and enjoyable call including a discussion on each other's families and life updates since last we spoke.
I will always hold good memories of Neil, one of the most interesting people I have met!

While we’ve lived away for many years I’ve often reflect on Neil’s awesome story telling, Our trip to Promise Keepers in 1995 to Denver will be forever etched in my mind. Neil’s unmatched love for his family was truly evident. I’ll always remember Neil as a beautiful and humble soul who touched my life for an eternity. Barry Collick

Dear Madeline, Meredith, and Annie. We are all so sorry for your loss. Neil was one of the good ones. He was always a joyful presence in the neighbourhood. I'd like to extend my sincerest condolences to Meredith, Anne, and Madeline on the passing of Neil. We were neighbours for years. He always had a cheery laugh and grin.
He will be missed.
We are so sad to read the news of Neil’s sudden passing. Our hearts ache for you Madeline, Anne, Meredith and family. Neil was always so full of energy and joy. We pray for God’s love and peace to comfort you. I am so sorry that we are not in town for Neil’s memorial service.
We are shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Neil. We fondly remember him as a family man who loved spending quality time with Madeline, Meredith, and Anne. His exuberance was infectious and he will be sorely missed. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Our deepest condolences to Neil's whole family.
