Obituary of Lorne Quintin Moore

July 18, 1941– Edmonton, Alberta

October 17, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Lorne Moore, beloved husband of Corliss Moore (nee Anderson) passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 83 years.

He will be remembered for his kindness and his gentle manner. These attributes served him well during his many years volunteering as a driver for the Canadian Cancer Society.

Lorne enjoyed woodworking and had a passion for all vintage cars. His memorable vacations were on or near the ocean; those spent on Vancouver Island and at our Mexican casa were his most favoured.

Besides his soulmate and loving wife, Lorne is survived by two daughters, Jenifer and Susan Moore; and his sister Paula Moore-Ansell. He is also survived by his stepson Aaron French, and grandson Cooper French Flores.

He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law Laurie (John) Maher, sister-in-law Bev Mitchell, brother-in-law Morley Anderson, and their families.
