Obituary of Mario Pornobi Roces

October 17, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Mario Pornobi Roces on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 65 years. He was born in Pagbilao, Quezon, Philippines, on May 15, 1959.

Mario is survived by his wife Desideria Ocul Roces, and sons, Bryan James Roces and Thomas Paul Roces.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street N, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at  Sainte-Famille Catholic Church (1717 5 St SW, Calgary, AB T2S 2A8) on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery (243208 Garden Rd, Calgary, AB T1X 1G2).

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Roces' service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
